What are education competitive exams?

CTET is the central eligibility test for teachers from class I to VIII, UGC NET and CSIR NET determine eligibility for Assistant Professor/JRF/PhD routes, NCET is for the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme, and KVS/NVS, DSSSB, HTET, and REET cover teacher recruitment or state eligibility systems.
